Chapter 9.04 GENERAL PROVISIONS
9.04.020 Animal control officer--Duties.
There shall be in this county, a chief animal control officer
subject to the direction and supervisory control of the county sheriff. The
division of animal services shall function as a division of the sheriff's
office. It shall be the duty of the chief animal control officer and his duly
authorized staff and employees to carry out the provisions of this title, and
all applicable statutes of the state and to be in charge of the public pound
