Chapter 22.30 STANDARDS FOR SPECIFIC LAND USES
22.30.500 Residential uses in the recreation land use category.
A residential use identified as allowable in the Recreation land use
category by Section 22.06.030 (Allowable Land Uses and Permit Requirements) is
subject to the standards of this section, except for caretaker residences (see
Section 22.30.430).
A. Permit Requirement.
1. Principal Use.
Multi-family units proposed as the principal use of a site in a Recreation
category require minor use permit approval, unless Section 22.08.030
(Project-Based Permit Requirements) would otherwise require use permit
approval.
2. Secondary Use. Residential units secondary to a commercial use
allowed in the Recreation category are subject to the permit requirements of
Section 22.08.030 for residential uses.
B. Minimum Site Area and Density: To
be as required by Section 22.10.130 (Residential Density - Multi-Family
Dwellings), or applicable planning area standards (Article 9). (Ord. 2892 §
