(a) Any use of land identified as a special ("S" or "S-P") use by Coastal Table O, Part I of the land use element shall be subject to the land use permit requirements established by this chapter unless specified otherwise in this chapter, or unless other permit requirements are set by applicable planning area (Part II of the land use element), or combining designation standards (Chapter 23.07).
(b) Where plot plan approval is the land use permit required by this chapter and the proposed development is appealable to the coastal commission as provided by Section 23.01.043, minor use permit approval (Section 23.02.033) shall instead be required. (Ord. 2592 § 9 (part), 1992)
