(a) Permit Requirement.
(1) Fuel Dealers. As set forth in Section 23.03.042 (permit requirements) for retail trade and service uses.
(2) Ice Dealers. As set forth in Section 23.03.042 (permit requirements) for manufacturing and processing uses.
(b) Parking Requirement. One space per one thousand square feet of use area. Parking lot turnover is low; loading bay intensity is high.
(c) Fuel Dealer Standards.
(1) Minimum Site Area. Twenty thousand square feet.
(2) Location. For aboveground fuel tank storage, no closer than five hundred feet to a residential category. No location limitation for establishments using underground storage only.
(3) Site Design. Where storage yards or outdoor activity areas are proposed, they are subject to the provisions of Section 23.08.146.
(4) Setbacks. All aboveground fuel storage facilities are to be no closer than fifty feet to any property line or any residential use.
(d) Ice and Bottled Water Dealer Standards. No special standards other than permit and parking requirements in subsection (b) of this section. See Chapter 23.04. (Ord. 2715 § 118, 1995; Ord. 2592 § 9 (part), 1992)
